Spreading Hope Co Big Announcement

The idea of starting an Etsy shop has always been intimidating to me, but this was not going to be an excuse to stop me from trying. I grew up the type of girl with hyper ambition. Someone who always wanted to try everything. A girl with never-ending goals and big dreams. This is the story behind Spreading Hope Co. Real life. Real work. Real hope.

Just as Brandon and I walked out a season of joy after celebration of our first year of marriage (can I get an amen?), we were finally starting to get comfortable in our new home. Thats until one early, warm August morning hit. It was a Wednesday and I had just made my way, striding down the ten stairs of our two bedroom apartment. The warmth of a big mug of coffee smacked the palm of my hand as my feet shuffled across the dining room floor. I had decided I was going to take a longer morning to myself, appreciating the moments of quiet as I enjoyed my extra effort breakfast.
A tap at the door and a twist of the handle left me questionable. The door pepped open with a surprise visit from my husband. "You came to see me on your break?!" I asked excitedly. His heart completely on his sleeve, he kept his head down and his tears held back. As the wife of a completely energetic and happy man, I knew instantly something was wrong. "I'm done, Tiffany." he spoke softly. My kind, hardworking, and passionate husband lost his job. We stood there in a place of uncertainty, shaken by the surprising report. That day, it felt like the only thing we had to hold on to was all of our faith.

Thoughts instantly flooded my mind whether or not we would be able to keep our home, meet our basic financial needs, and what I could do to keep us optimistic. "Don't worry, Brandon, we're going to make it. God's got this!" I said. Even if the world was crumbling around me, my hope would stand. And that's exactly what it did over the next three weeks. Crumbled.

Multiple problems started to creep into our daily lifestyle and piled quickly upon the top of our shoulders. It was bad news after bad news, just when we thought our breakthrough was coming. Although this, I'm most thankful knowing that we're about to find peace, trusting in Jesus who has a purpose and a plan for it all. That we are able to be free from discomfort, not knowing what the future held. We could have panicked as we watched the numbers in our bank account drop and signed for every last penny to be taken out of our savings we worked so vigorously for.
When we gazed upon our situation with a gratitude perspective of what we do have, joy was revealed. Our income may have dropped 200%, but our authentic expectation for God to work did not. Brandon and I both agreed that we wanted to start a business in previous months, but where and how where questions left unanswered. It was life's sudden interruption that brought us into a place of encouragement to go for it! To start and step out, with only trust in our dreams. As a couple, we found ourselves having plenty of motivation to get started right away!

Our new shop was born September 2nd 2017, with the intention to scatter a little hope. Influencing others to know they are called with a purpose, one printable at a time. It is our greatest wish that everyone will find authentic love and discover inspiration to go after your dream no matter what the circumstance you're in. To obtain confidence through all of life's situation and continuing to thrive in faith; spreading hope along the way.

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." -Romans 8:28.
